What can I keep in Noxx?
Photos, videos, documents, audio files, private notes, and voice recordings. Import from your phone, or use the camera and recorder inside Noxx to capture something straight into your vault.
How is this different from a hidden album?
Noxx encrypts your files and vault index on your phone. Your pattern opens its own separate vault, with no list of your other vaults on the unlock screen. You can also disguise Noxx as an everyday app with Pro.
What if I forget my pattern?
Your recovery phrase can open your vault if you forget its pattern. Keep that phrase somewhere safe, away from your phone. We don’t have your keys and can’t recover your files if you lose both your pattern and phrase.
Do my files stay on my phone?
Your vault is stored encrypted on your phone. With Pro, you can also make encrypted backups in your own iCloud or Google Drive account, or save a manual encrypted backup wherever you choose. Files you export or share leave Noxx’s protection.
Does importing delete my original photos?
No. Importing creates an encrypted copy in Noxx. You can choose to delete the originals afterwards. Until you remove them, the original files remain in your photo library or the app they came from.
Do I need an account? And are there ads?
No Noxx account, no email sign-up, and no ads. You control usage analytics in the app. Purchases and optional cloud backups use your existing Apple or Google account. Our privacy policy explains what each service handles.
Is Noxx free?
Noxx has a free plan to get you started. Pro adds more room for your files, encrypted backups, app disguises, extra themes, and more. You’ll see the available plans and prices in the app before purchasing.
When can I download it?
Noxx isn’t public yet. We’re getting it ready for iPhone and Android. This website will have the official store links when it’s available.
